The founding of Tashi Kyil Monastery-Dehra Dun, India, in 1965, was inspired by Tashi Kyil Monastery in Amdo, Tibet.
Lama Lobsang Palden lived, worked and studied at Tashi Kyil Monastery in Amdo, Tibet, and in exile at Dehra Dun. Tashi Kyil is seriously affected by a lack of funds. Since its inception, BBDC has made recurring donations to Tashi Kyil, which has helped them to continue to perform traditional annual prayers such as Monlam Chenmo, drill a much-needed tube well, and build a kitchen and dining hall, a guest house, and a World Peace Stupa. Tashi Kyil and Lama Lobsang greatly appreciate your helpful donations. You may send donations directly to Tashi Kyil at their address (above) or DONATE to BBDC and we will pass the donations on to them. Thank you!  Click here for more information about Tashi Kyil Monastery at www.LamaLobsang.com.
