Blue Beryl Dharma Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your donations will help support our programs, projects, and charitable activities.
Tashi Kyil Monastery, a Tibetan Buddhist monastery located in Dehra Dun, India, is seriously affected by a lack of funds. BBDC, since its inception, has made recurring donations to Tashi Kyil, which has helped them to continue to perform traditional annual prayers such as Monlam Chenmo, drill a much-needed tube well, and build a kitchen and dining hall, a guest house, and a World Peace Stupa. Lama Lobsang lived, worked and studied at Tashi Kyil Monastery in Amdo, Tibet, and in exile at Dehra Dun. Tashi Kyil and Lama Lobsang greatly appreciate your helpful donations. Beryl Dharma Center regularly supports the Tibetan Children's Village, a school and orphanage for Tibetan refugee children in india.
BBDC has a history of supporting Tibetan organizations such as TCV and
the International Campaign for Tibet. BBDC raised $750.00 for ICT at its "Compassionate Healing" fundraiser at Bhakti Yoga and Retreat Center in New Milford, CT on May 17, 2009.
BBDC also supports
the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians. This community has been
devasted by substance abuse, and the GTB Substance Abuse
Program is developing a trail in honor of two young girls who were
killed in a tragic accident involving alcohol. The Twyla
Shomin/ Michelle Priest Foundation trail, a safe path for families and
children, symbolizes
walking a healthy, drug-free life, promoting the physical, spiritual and emotional
well-being of the community. BBDC supports this effort in thanks to
the GTB for their hospitality during our summer retreats, which are
held on GTB land. Tax-deductible donations to BBDC can be made safely and easily through PayPal. Blue Beryl Dharma Center
